Public plans help members come together around a real activity, place and time.
What is a public plan?
A public plan can appear in Discover for members browsing the relevant city. Other members can open the plan and choose to join.
Creating a public plan
- Open the plan creation flow.
- Choose Public.
- Select the activity.
- Search for and select the correct venue.
- Choose the date and start time, and add an end time when needed.
- Add the plan title and description.
- Review the details and create the plan.
Choosing the venue
Select the correct place from the venue search results. An accurate venue helps attendees find the plan and ensures it appears in the correct location.
Writing a useful description
Explain what you are doing, what attendees should expect and anything they should know before arriving.
Managing your plan
Your public plans appear under Hosting in the Plans tab. Open the plan to view attendees, edit eligible details, use plan chat and cancel or delete the plan when those actions are available.
