About Vamio

Built to help people come back to real life.

Vamio is a social discovery app for adults who want meaningful plans, genuine connections and a calmer way to meet people in the real world.

Why Vamio exists

Social technology has made it easier than ever to watch, follow, like and message people. But for many adults, it has not made it easier to actually go out, meet like-minded people and feel part of a real community.

Vamio was created around a simple belief: technology should help people live more, not scroll more.

The app is designed to help people discover what is happening nearby, create simple plans, join public activities, chat before meeting and build real-world familiarity without the pressure or noise of a traditional social feed.

The Vamio idea

Discover people nearby. Join plans. Create your own. Meet in real life.

No endless feed. No popularity contest. No vanity metrics. Just practical tools for getting people together.

What makes Vamio different

Vamio is built around participation, not performance.

Real plans first

The centre of the app is not a feed. It is Discover, Plans, Create, Chat and Profile — the areas that help people move from browsing to meeting.

Calm by design

Vamio avoids clutter, duplicate functionality and engagement tricks. The experience is intentionally simple, premium and practical.

Trust matters

Real-world social discovery requires confidence. Vamio includes profiles, safety tools, reporting, moderation and reviewed Host accounts.

For people, travellers and local communities

Vamio is for adults who want a more natural way to meet people: coffee, walks, food, nightlife, outdoor activities, public events, private plans and local meetups.

Travel Mode helps people explore another city before arriving, while Hosts give venues and organisers a way to create public plans that bring people together offline.

Whether someone is moving to London, travelling solo, rebuilding a social circle, or simply looking for something to do this weekend, Vamio is designed to reduce friction and make participation easier.

“Vamio isn’t trying to replace the real world. It’s trying to help bring people back to it.”

The current stage

Vamio is currently being tested on iPhone through TestFlight. The product is being refined with real feedback before wider release, with a focus on reliability, performance, trust and a high-quality user experience.

The goal is not to become another noisy social platform. The goal is to become a useful bridge between digital discovery and real-world connection.
